(“we,” “us,” “our” or “Downstream.AI”) is a mobile advertising company that provides advertisers with a platform to deliver more targeted advertising to prospective and current customers. Our technology enables our advertisers to show mobile application and website users more relevant advertising that is based on users’ interests and behaviors. In order to provide these services, we collect and use certain information about user activity and preferences.
We collect personally identifiable information (PII) when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. This information is used to fulfill specific requests and services.
The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Your mobile devices provide a way to limit ad tracking:
On iOS: Go to your iPhone's settings app. Scroll to the Privacy section. In Privacy, scroll down to the Advertisering section. Slide the "Limit Ad Tracking" to on.
On Android: Go to your Android's Settings. Select Accounts & sync (the name of this may vary depending on your particular Android device). Find Google, then tap Ads. Check the box next to "Opt out of interest-based ads".
You may control how your browser responds to cookies by adjusting the privacy and security settings of your web browser.
You may opt out of certain advertisers’ cookies and browser-enabled, interest-based advertising at the Network Advertising Initiative’s website and the Digital Advertising Alliance’s website. Please note that these opt outs apply to interest-based advertising by participating advertisers. You may still receive other types of online advertising from participating advertisers, and the websites you visit may still collect information for other purposes. In addition, the opt-out choices you select are stored in opt-out cookies only in the browser that you use to visit the opt-out websites, so you should separately set your preferences for other browsers or Devices you may use. Deleting browser cookies can remove your opt-out preferences, so you should visit these opt-out websites periodically to review your preferences or update your preferences to apply to new participating advertisers.
